Frequently asked

Answers to the questions parents ask first.

If your question isn't here, a quick note via the contact page is the fastest way — we'll reply within one working day.

What subjects do you offer tutoring in?
Smart Centre focuses on Maths, Physical Science and Accounting. We work with senior-school learners across IEB, CAPS/GDE and Cambridge curricula.
What curricula do you support?
We teach to the specific exam board your learner is writing — IEB, CAPS/GDE, or Cambridge. Tutors follow that board's expectations, style of question, and weighting, rather than a generic syllabus.
What's the difference between group, semi-private, and one-on-one tuition?
Group tuition runs in small, consistent groups at a set weekly time — the most accessible option. Semi-private is a handful of learners working more closely with the tutor. One-on-one is fully individual and tailored. Many families start in a group and move formats as needs change.
How do I register my child?
Send an enquiry through the contact page. We'll follow up with a short placement chat, arrange a trial session, and confirm a regular slot if everyone is happy. Full steps are outlined on the Fees & Registration page.
How much does tuition cost?
Fees vary by subject, grade and tuition format. We share the current term's fee sheet during the initial enquiry conversation so the quote is always accurate.
Who is tuition for?
Tuition suits learners who need to consolidate foundations, learners who are keeping pace but want a steadier rhythm, and learners preparing for major exams who need structured practice. We work with a wide range of starting points.
What should my child bring to a session?
Their school textbook, current classwork or homework, a notebook, and a calculator (for Maths and Science). We'll confirm the exact list during registration based on the subject and grade.
Do you offer holiday or exam-period revision?
Yes — structured revision during exam periods is a regular part of what we do. Get in touch early, as these slots fill quickly.
